Land to Air Express provides people an affordable, speedy and comfortable ride to the airport. Our shuttle drivers are friendly and enjoy their work. And our shuttles are spacious and quiet. We hope you enjoy the ride.

Specifically, we offer multiple trips between Mankato and the Minneapolis- St.Paul International Airport everyday! Our shuttles take highway 169 along the Minnesota River, stop in downtown St. Peter and occasionally college campuses, and can connect people to light rail transit and Amtrak. Want to use our shuttles for an event? You’re in luck! We also charter our shuttles.

what’s our history

Land to Air Express was founded in 1983, by Louie Boben. Thousands of shuttle rides later, on January 1st, 2009, Louie sold Land to Air Express to Charlie Zelle, the owner of Jefferson Lines. But despite new ownership, Land to Air operates independently from Jefferson Lines. Have one discussion with our shuttle drivers and you’ll discover that Land to Air maintains its local touch and commitment to the Mankato community.

Jason Mekalson is our new General Manager and is excited to build on our 26 years of shuttle experience. Face-to-face with passengers on a daily basis, he discovers new ways to improve our shuttle rides. Have a brilliant idea that would improve our service? Jason is the person to talk to!
