Jason Mekalson

Jason is the General Manager of Land to Air Express and is happy to be part of such a great team that connects people of southern Minnesota to the world, now with new connecting bus services to locations all over the US, Canada and Mexico, as well as the traditional MSP International Airport in the twin cities.

Jason considers himself fortunate to have an eclectic work background. In fact, as a side job (he says with a smile), he is an ordained minister and considers himself blessed to perform weddings. “It’s alway’s such an honor to be part of someones special occasion.”  Most recently Jason was the Director of Lutheran Social Service’ Personal Support Services, Hennepin County.   Before that he managed Group Homes and Assisted Livings, worked in commercial driving, and spent two years as a Flight Attendant for Skyway Airlines’ Midwest Express Connection.

Jason is a proud Uncle and loves his seven nephews:  Spencer Jason, 11; Broderick Corey, 7; Andrew Thomas, 5; Jack Arthur, 5; Maddox Corey, 4; Noah Andrew, 3 and Jace Richard, 1. Family and the ability to help others is a key focus in Jason’s life.  When Jason is not at Land to Air Express, it may be hard to pinpoint his exact location because he loves to travel, but one thing is for certain – the first leg his journeys start with Land to Air Express!
