Ticket Limitations & Restrictions
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
All Land to Air Express tickets are non-refundable.
Tickets that are cancelled need to have at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure will receive account credit for future travel. This credit must be used within 1 year. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before departure are not eligible for credit.
Tickets that need to be rescheduled also need to have at least 2 hours prior notice.
DELAYS
Land to Air Express is not responsible for delays caused by breakdowns, road conditions, weather, or any other factors outside of the carrier’s control.
LOST OR STOLEN TICKETS
Land to Air Express is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Tickets are non-transferable.
CHILDREN’S TRAVEL
- Children ages 2 to 11 may travel at a reduced child’s fare and must be accompanied by a passenger 17 years or older.
- Infants under 2 travel free when seated with a paying adult and not occupying a separate seat.
PET POLICY
Land to Air Express allows only trained service animals. Customers with disabilities may travel with their service animal, which must always remain under the owner’s control (e.g., leash, harness, or carrier).
- The service animal must stay within the customer’s space and cannot travel in the aisle or occupy a seat.
- Comfort or companion animals are not eligible for travel under the service animal policy.
Drivers may ask whether the animal is required due to a disability and what tasks the animal is trained to perform. Comfort animals are not considered service animals.
BAGGAGE POLICY
Land to Air Express expressly disclaims liability for any lost or damaged baggage and for any injuries caused by or resulting from shifting baggage. Passengers should keep their baggage, including any personal belongings, in their possession at all times.
Land to Air Express does not check bags and does not assume any responsibility for the safe and secure transport of bags over its routes.
- Baggage must comply with Land to Air Express’ baggage allowances and restrictions (available online).
- Certain articles are not accepted for carriage, please review the list of prohibited items.
- Passengers are responsible for properly tagging and identifying their baggage, including name and address.
- Passengers wishing to stow baggage in under-bus compartments do so at their own risk and may only place bags in such compartments with a company staff member present.
- Passengers requiring special assistance with baggage should speak to a staff member at the ticketing counter to make necessary arrangements.
UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by a passenger at least 17 years old.
- Passengers ages 12-16 may travel unaccompanied at full adult fare if the following conditions are met:
- No transfers during the trip (origin and destination are the same).
- The trip duration does not exceed 5 hours.
- Travel occurs during daylight hours.
- Both stations (origin and destination) are full-service or company-operated.
- The destination station will be open when the child arrives.
- Parent or guardian must complete the Unaccompanied Child Form, which must be returned to the Customer Service Supervisor.
- The designated adult meeting the child at the destination must present photo ID to release the child. Without ID, the child will be turned over to local authorities or Child Protective Services.
Unaccompanied child tickets cannot be purchased online. To request the form, please contact Customer Service.
GENERAL INFORMATION
- The issuing carrier is responsible for transportation on its own routes and assumes no responsibility for actions or omissions outside of its control.
- Seating aboard vehicles is provided without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin.
- Special fares are limited to their designated use on the ticket.
- Land to Air Express is not responsible for lost or damaged baggage and recommends that passengers always keep their personal items with them.
- Passengers wishing to stow baggage in under-bus compartments do so at their own risk and may only do so with staff assistance.
- For special assistance with baggage or other needs, please speak to a staff member at the ticket counter.
